Your artwork is very good but your animation needs work to catch up to your full potential. you should try animating simple things (simple in the sense that you are not animating complex drawings, not simple in the sense that the animations are simple) like sketches or something, or simple drawings so that you can focus on practicing your animation skills, because your artwork is very good, and when you get better at animating, your art will look better, because it will move better.
I agree, when I look back on projects like this I could do with some more animation-based practise... I hope to get onto it soon. Thanks for your comment :)
Something for you guys to keep in mind:
it was ok
most of the artists need more work on their animating skills, and there is one very big and important thing that you need to know about making a flash music video like this:
NOBODY likes literal dipictions of the lyrics throughout the whole video because its stuipdi looking
please dont do that again, i liked the one with the robot and the blue/yellow background because it went well with the music but it didnt (and this is what made it a lot better than the others) it didn't just show me random pictures or animations of whatever the lyrics were saying. i hated that about a majority of them. just show me something that looks nice that fits the music.
its not bad
it was pretty funny all the characters, backdrops, etc. were drawn very nicely, but your animating needed work
Like I said so many times before :
you need to stop using the original as a template.
you can say watever the fuck you want, why does everyone find it neccecary to do the same shit over and over again. its a really good concept and i looked forward to seeing different ideas from people and i was very dissapointed when all i saw was people doing the same shit over and over again, except much worse
you did wat everyone does, you used allen awesome's flash as a template. almost all of these start with saying who the peson is and what their level is, then a little about themselves, then their 2 favorite flashes, then a lot of them end there, but then a lot of them do a hand thing similar to allen awesomes, then they end it. these are very open ended and im tired of seeing everyones exact copies of the original
good i guess
one of the things you did right was that you used different topics than the original. ive seen too many where they were just like alen awesome's just with a change in the opinion or facts about it
the video quality wasnt bad, but it could have been longer
and if you really are nine than that makes me feel like my flash skills are verry under-developed.
no im not nine , im 13 but hey ok fair do's.
the animation needed a litle bit of work, but it was good overall
and if its called "How Not To Die" why did the text give ways to die like "Don't grab a bull by the horns, let them grab you" and "Don't stop, drop, or roll"
but those are just details, it was a good flash
the title is how not to not die. this is a double negative, so what the title means is how to die. think before you review kthx.
these are going to get really popular...
...especially with a whole load of them coming in on saturday (theres a thing on the forums about it somewhere)
i liked the other one just a little more because you were very hyper about it, and i think the voice acting could have used a bit more practice, but it was still really good
thanks and good job
i gave it a good score. i have done school projects using flash before also, and i know how hard it can be working with a deadline. you did a good job animating and had good facts. in fact it did help me a bit with my own research project (dont worry im not copying word for word or anything)
ok. i did laugh, but it was too mean to give it a score other than 0. maybe if it werent such a big topic i would have given it a better score, but he is dead dude, wich isnt funny, thoughthe flash kinda was, but still, its too mean to let it get a good score
